MassARRAY System for medium to high throughput SNP detection

There are over 2000 publications for which data was generated using MassARRAY DNA specific MALDI-TOF technology. We offer a local SNP detection service using the MassARRAY 4 System and can also supply and service the instrumentation to customers wanting their own MassARRAY as Agena Bioscience’s official distribution partner.

The DNA/RNA analyte mixture is transferred, using the RS1000 Nanodispenser, to a SpectroCHIP array which serves as a launching pad for MALDI-TOF analysis with the MassARRAY Analyzer 4.
The entire process of lazer firing to signal detection takes only a few milliseconds, so up to 384 samples can be analysed in less than 50 minutes
The MassARRAY Analyzer 4 System is designed to detect DNA within a mass range of approximately 1,000 Da to 10,000 Da (≈3 nucleotides to 30 nucleotides), with a resolution of 16 DA mass separation.
